Human Resources Intern

Job duties:

Arvato Systems N.A. is looking for a Human Resources Intern to provide support to the Human Resources function through creative application of theoretical knowledge and concepts. Responsibilities for this role will include:
• Recruitment process – Assist with all aspects of recruitment (job posting, prescreens, background checks, and securing needed documents from candidates, research into success of recruiting methods)
• On-boarding process – new hire activities including system set up and orientation assistance, updating organizational chart
• Employment Records - Maintains employment files and records per company policy and legal regulations, provides reporting through HR system as needed, liaise with shared services and payroll
• Other ad hoc HR projects (e.g. performance management system, policy development, employee satisfaction and retention, benefits audit)

Job requirements:

• Strong interest and passion for the Human Resources field; willingness to learn
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial/ Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Organizational Development or other related fields
• Intermediate to advanced skill with Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, etc.)
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Cooperative attitude with a team-oriented disposition
• Ability to maintain confidentiality on all HR aspects
• Strong research and follow-up skills
• Ability to commitment 20 hours a week
